Great service in store with friendly staff - we purchased the Gainsborough 4 seater sofa and footstool. The problem is the quality of the sofa is really low, all the cushions are sagged after just 3 months of use and the frame creeks sporadically. We have had the quality control people out and they said that is just the way they are made and there is nothing we can do even though we purchased the additional insurance. Really disappointed that a sofa we saved for and were told was great quality in store, that cost us over £1000 isn't fit for purpose. Don't buy this product.

Do not buy from this company, I paid £2500 for a leather 3 piece suite waited 5months for it to arrive and after 2 weeks use the leather arms went saggy and distorted. Complained to them but they said they didn't class this as a fault. Absolutely despicable company AVOID!

We ordered some furniture from the Oak Furnitureland website which was supposed to arrive within 6 weeks. We didn't get it until 9 months later. When it arrived, one item was damaged, and another had what looked like flecks of paint or woodstain on it. The furniture is generally not very well put together, with gaps in between the joints. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality – the furniture we received looks like factory rejects. We will not be buying from Oak Furnitureland again, and would definitely not recommend.

I will never use this company again. Ordered a dining room table and four chairs online. The table top has stain marks on it - which are not wood knots or colour varaitions, submitted the problem with photos online as instructed. They have not been in touch and I have tried to rung them numerous times but just get put in a queue (high call volume) it is always the same regardless of what time of day I ring. Been on hold for an hour in my longest call.

We ordered a corner sofa from them and waited 6 weeks for you to deliver two right hand parts and no left. Then they tell me to wait over 2 months to put it right! Seriously! When I question this and say cancel my order they didn't even care, put up a fight to keep me as a customer or my sale even when I cancelled our other items. The most shocking customer service I've received in a very long time! What a joke! Do I recommend Oak Furniture Land? No I blinking don't! I recommend you all stay well clear!
Don't promise customers they'll receive their order when you don't know where your own stock is. The representative said ‘without searching to the depths of the earth I won't find it'. No love try just searching your warehouses!

I am very disappointed with this company as the items that they sell are of very good quality, but unfortunately their customer service is just the opposite.
I ordered a suite in their store in a sale and had to pay up front as the salesperson said the sale was ending that day, but later found that this was not correct as the sale continued. This was at the beginning of January and that the delivery date would be May 18th. When I rang at the end of April to confirm the delivery would as stated and after a very long wait to speak to an representative, I was informed that the delivery date had been put back to the end of June.
I received an SMS on my phone this morning to get in touch with customer services regarding my order but after a lengthy wait I finally gave up and went onto their website and entered my order details, I get the following message, Failure! Order ofl-62****0 is unable to be added to your account.
After this experience, I will never ever deal with this company again

We spent over £1800 in store when we checked our Bill once we were home we had been over charged on two lamps we returned to the shop and talked to the manager his attitude to the issue was Very rude and off hand toward us regarding the over charged this is our first and last time we will ever shop at Oak furnitureland


The sales lady was very good, friendly and professional.She helped us get exactly what we wanted. The only negative. The hard sell on the insurance. Oak Furniture Land should incentivise their staff differently so not putting their customers under any pressure.

If you would like to pay for your order in full up front, then have your three month delivery date extended another three months, then get offered a small discount not to cancel and never actually receive the refund then this is the company for you. And unless you have a spare couple of hours to queue on phone nobody answers emails either.

I have been so disappointed after my furniture delivery was cancelled without notice and only found out on day of delivery, which left me with all my unwanted furniture dismantled and nowhere to sit,I’m a disabled senior citizen didn’t seem to get anywhere with customer services just a future date for my furniture delivery I hope someone gets in touch with my dilemma.not happy customer

I was changed a extra £24.99, I was not told by the sale person for quick delivery, when I told him , he still put the card payment through, I am a 70 year old, I will not use this company again, and I have to wait for a refund

Cannot comment on product as this was cancelled due to it coming from India. Waiting now for refund

Helpful and friendly staff (even in stores where they were closing and losing their jobs). Good value for money furniture.
